Sorry you haven’t heard from the band for the last couple of weeks. We’ve had some technical issues with the website, which have now thankfully been resolved.
We had a fantastic night as always at The Bull, Colchester on Friday 20th April!! Nice and packed, a great atmosphere, and we can’t wait to return there for date No3 of 2012 on the 20th July!!
Last weekend saw us with a gig double header, first visiting The Cock Inn, Thurlow on Friday 27th, followed by our return to The Independent, Braintree on Saturday 28th. What a great weekend of ROCK!!!
Next stop on the tour sees us returning to one of our favourite venues, the fantastic Drum Inn, Earls Colne, this Friday, the 4th May!! We always get really excited about playing here. Fantastic owners, staff, and customers, who are always up for having a good old rock out with us!! We’ll be debuting a couple of new songs too, so we really can’t wait!! Hope to see you all there!!

This Saturday saw us playing at a brand new venue for us, The White Horse in Maldon, and what a debut it was!!! Cracking venue, great owners, staff and customers!! Really good atmosphere, and we got some amazingly positive feedback, and a couple of repeat bookings, so Happy Days!!!! This Friday coming (20th April), sees us returning for the 2nd of 4 dates this year at The Bull, in our hometown of Colchester!! Always a cracking night, in a proper live music venue, that’s always heaving with hot sweaty live music fans!! It’s gonna be a belter!!

We had a great Easter weekend with 2 cracking gigs!! Good Friday was an excellent debut gig at The Durham Arms in Romford, followed by a stonking night on Saturday as we returned for our monthly slice of action at Pat Molloy’s in Colchester!!
This Saturday sees us with another debut gig, at The White Horse in Maldon. It’s gonna be a great night so get yourselves down to party with us, Voodoo style!!!

The tour continued this weekend with a fantastic night at The Drum Inn, Earls Colne!!! Jumping up and down, hot, sweaty and loud, just how we like it!!! We now have a very rare weekend off, but April is a mad one with 7 gigs in the diary!! We kick April off with a debut gig at The Durham Arms in Romford on Friday 6th, and follow this with our monthly trip to Pat Molloy’s in our hometown of Colchester on Saturday 7th. Rock and Roll!!!

This weekend sees us with a double header at Pat Molloy’s, Colchester on Friday night, and The Plough, Birdbrook on Saturday night!! We follow this up with 7 gigs in April, so there’s gonna be plenty of opportunity to come and spend a night with your favourite Voodoo Boys!!!

February draws to a close, and what a February it was!! 5 gigs performed, including 2 debuts at cracking new venues in Braintree, The Independent and The Swan, which we will both be returning to on a few occasions during the rest of the year. We start March with a rare weekend off, followed by a private function gig at Waldegraves holiday park on Saturday 10th. We then have a double header weekend with Pat Molloy’s on Friday 16th followed by The Plough in Birdbrook on Saturday 17th (St Patricks Day), and then we finish March off with a return to The Drum Inn, Earls Colne!! The tour rumbles on!!!!

What a great weekend! Friday night at Pat Molloy’s, followed by our debut gig last night at The Independent in Braintree! We had a blast! Great venue, great atmosphere, great staff & crowd! We can’t wait to return! Next stop on the Voodoo tour is another debut gig in Braintree. This time at The Swan, this Saturday, the 25th Feb. Hope to see all of you crazy Voodooites there!!!!

So, the first month of our 2012 tour has come to an end, and what a cracking start to the year it’s been for us!! We started with a cracking night at Pat Molloy’s, Colchester, then moved on to an awesome night at The Bull, Colchester. This was followed by a private party in Braintree, and then a return to The Judge and Jury, Colchester. Our final gig of the month was our debut at The Golden Fleece, Chelmsford, winner of the live music pub of the year award. We had a fantastic night there! The set up was superb, with great staff, and a great crowd!! We can’t wait to return to play there again!!! So 5 gigs played in January, and now another 5 booked in for February!!! The Voodoo bus rumbles on!!

After our 2011 tour finished on a high with a fantastic New Years Eve gig at The Drum Inn (thanks Wes & Michelle for having us), we kick off our monster 2012 tour at Pat Molloy’s in Colchester for the first of 12 booked dates in this fantastic venue for the year!!! With 45 gigs already confirmed in the diary and more booking requests coming in, this is shaping up to be a huge year for us, with plenty of opportunities for you all to come and see us live!!! SO NO EXCUSES!!!!
